Time Flies When You're Having Fun!
When Jeff Whitton and Paul Claxton decided to pool together their experience and knowledge of the cleaning industry, neither of them envisaged Rapid Clean continuing much beyond 5 years.
They have fond memories of those early days back in October 1999, featuring crack of dawn pub cleans, followed by a quick change into a suit to visit potential new customers!
25 years later, Jeff and Paul have taken Rapid Clean to a thriving business with more than 450 customers, 1000 permanent employees, and a turnover of close to £13 million per annum, all from organic growth. We think this is worth celebrating!

Throughout the month of October 2024, we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary by thanking various groups of people who have helped us get this far.
Our cleaning team is an integral part of our business, but sadly it's not all that easy to celebrate in person with 1200 people! They will each be given the opportunity to participate in a prize draw. We are looking forward to celebrating with our head office team at our site in Wokingham - pictures to follow on this one!
A number of our customers, ones who have been using our service for 10+ years, will be hand-delivered a commemorative bottle of bubbly by their Rapid Clean Contracts Manager.
Thank you to all our employees, suppliers and customers - past and present - who have contributed to helping us reach 25 years in business. There have been many hurdles along the way, but we are proud of what we do and the difference that it makes.
