We currently employ over 950 staff; a large percentage of whom are cleaners. Our longest serving cleaner has been working for us for 11 years and we have a number of people in head office who have been with us 15+ years. We do our utmost to ensure that all employees feel valued, no matter what their position with us.
Employee Awards.
In 2013 we launched our Rapid Superstar Award scheme. This is an opportunity for our operations team to nominate someone from their cleaning team, who they feel has gone above and beyond in their role. To date we have crowned more than 60 Rapid Superstars!
For our head office team, we have our Employee Superstar Award scheme. This is particularly meaningful as the seasonal winner is voted for by their colleagues.
Employee Survey Results.
As an organisation, we strive to provide our customers with a motivated team of cleaners but how do we know if they are motivated, unless we ask them?
Every two years we send out an employee survey to our whole cleaning team. December 2023 survey results showed that 93% of our cleaners feel that they are part of a motivated team. You can read the rest of the results here.
Opportunities to Develop.
We actively encourage progression and where possible we aim to promote from within. Eddie-Lawrence Kalule started working for Rapid Clean as a cover cleaner back in 2002. Through hard work and determination, in 2018 he was promoted to Operations Manager.
Eddie is now running a team of cleaners and Contracts Managers, who look after customers in west London through to Oxfordshire.
