Nominations for Rapid Superstar Q4 of 2016

Suzanne Whitton • February 27, 2017

It’s that time again, when we ask our Operations Team to nominate an employee who they feel is deserving of the title Rapid Superstar. This could be a cleaning operative who goes out of their way to build a relationship with the customer, someone who is flexible and happy to cover other sites when necessary, or a supervisor who looks to build their team and encourage others to do a good job.

The Rapid Superstar title isn’t given away lightly. This quarter we received the following nominations…

Gustavo Castano nominated Ronald Kalule from Ramblers Rest, Palmerston Accounts and St Mildred’s Church

“I nominate Mr Ronald Kalule who is a very hard dedicated worker that goes above and beyond to meet client expectations and my own. He has been working for the company for a very long time. He is highly valued by all of our customers at his sites, and I can always count on his sites to be extremely clean.”

Goran Velinovski nominated William Gablah from Highwood Primary School, The Six Bells and Balmore Park Surgery

“Mr William Gablah works for us at 3 sites and I’m very happy to nominate him. He is an extremely committed member of staff and always promotes a high standard of cleaning. He has great relationships with other operatives and the customer s.”

Sue Kirby nominated Carole Lock and Glenda Darlow from Reading Girls School

“Carole Lock and Glenda Darlow have worked on this site together for many years (Carole for 41 years and Glenda for almost 20 years) and when we took on the contract they were very helpful and still are. I never get complaints from their areas and if they are asked to do extras they just do it, even staying longer to finish the job. All the staff like them, they would be sorely missed by all.”

Luke Dobson nominated Ewa Korytkowska from Chichester Free School

“Ewa works as a supervisor at Chichester Free School with 4 other cleaners. This is a really difficult site as the school is always a hard clean every day. She keeps the team motivated to get the job done. She keeps me up to date on all the comments made by herself and staff in the communication file so I am always aware of what is happening. Ewa is extremely reliable and helps out with cover work on other sites. She is a tremendous asset to Rapid Clean.”

Chudi Uzowulu nominated Matondo Lumueni from Mullis & Peake

“I would like to nominate Matondo Lumueni from Mullis & Peake for her dedication for handling the site by herself whilst we dealt with recruitment and DBS’. Not once did she complain but always kept myself and Obie informed. She also sourced the cleaners we have now who have proved to be very good at what they do. She has good communication skills both with us and the customer, hence most issues are well diluted before they reach us. I absolutely believe she deserves this award.”

Aga Skupien nominated Katarzyna Blignaut from Axon and Orkanargon

“My nomination goes to Katarzyna Blignaut. She is a superstar as a colleague, supervisor and cleaning operative. A role model for everyone.”

Craig Love nominated Elison Queiroz Thome from the Daily Echo

“My nomination is for Elison Queiroz Thome  at The Daily Echo. Always keen to please. Does everything I request and always asks for feedback on meetings with the clients and audits. A great asset to the company.”

Eddie Kalule nominated Margaret Phil from Brayley Honda

“My nomination goes to Margaret Phil working at Brayley Honda, St. Albans. Margaret has been a great member of staff to rapid for many years at this site. Paul, the owner of the business always has good compliments about her services. During the Christmas period she even went the extra mile in covering a couple of sites without asking us to cover the cost of her fuel. So I believe she deserves this quarter’s award.”

Bernice Anim nominated Josephine Lawrence from BJP Insurance

“This time I will nominate a lady who works for me at BJP insurance, her name is Josephine Lawrence. Josie, as we all call her, has been a cleaner for BJP for 15 years. I have changed a lot of cleaners on this site since we took it on but Josie is still there. She works hard and does a good job. She is very reliable too. I want to use this opportunity to let Josie know that as a company we value staff like her and appreciate all she does to keep the contract going on smoothly.”

Peter Soares nominated Marie John from Hartwell Citroen

“I would like to nominate Marie John, our cleaner working at Hartwell Citroen Bath. She’s been working there since August last year, doing a very good job. The standards are much better now as she’s reliable and communicates very well with myself, the customer and their staff. They all really like her as she’s always polite and helpful. Marie John is a Superstar!”
