Help flush away poverty today!

Suzanne Whitton • January 14, 2014

Did you know that 2.6 billion people (40% of the world’s population)  don’t have somewhere safe and hygienic  to go to the loo?

Many of you will be familiar with toilet twinning but for some, this unique opportunity to help people in a less fortunate position, may have passed you by.

What’s it all about?

UK based charities – Cord and Tearfund – have linked up to bring you a unique way to help transform lives in poor communities across the world. By supporting toilet twinning, you are helping to change this shocking statistic.

What do I need to do?

Simply pay a visit (pardon the pun!) to http://www.toilettwinning.org and your gift of £60.00 will help some of the world’s poorest people gain access to safe sanitation, clean water and hygiene education.

In return, you will receive a certificate of your toilet’s twin, containing a photograph, the latrine’s location and its GPS coordinates – yes, you can actually look it up on Google Maps!

Rapid’s toilet twin can be found in Siayanga village, Zambia, Africa.

Be part of the solution, today!
