A Month of Celebration!
As October draws to a close, we would like to take the opportunity to reflect on a month in which celebration has featured heavily. It's easy for businesses to get caught up in making the wheels turn, but stopping to celebrate success should be an important part of what we do.
In our previous post, we mentioned various ways in which we were intending to celebrate and thank all those involved in helping us reach 25 years in business. One of the key plans was to invite our head office team to gather at our premises in Wokingham, to reflect and celebrate all that we have achieved since conception in 1999.
No Rapid Clean celebration is complete without two key things: cake and competition! A company quiz was therefore top of the agenda and although a close run thing, Rapid Rabbits were the winning team.
We would not be where we are today without an amazing bunch of people making it happen. One of the things we discovered during our time together, is that more than 50% of those present have been a Rapid Clean employee for over 5 years. A couple are still with us from the very early days of our office in Eton, Berkshire back in the early 2000s!
It's difficult to stand out in a saturated market, but one thing that we feel sets us apart, is our company culture. We value integrity over anything else and our Chairman, Jeff Whitton, took the opportunity to remind everyone of this as we gathered together to raise a toast. There are many ways for a company to measure success, but having a team of people that represents the company well and wants to come to work every day, is Rapid Clean's primary success marker.
This month has also featured our operations team visiting various customers who deserved a personal 'thank for' playing their part in helping us reach 25 years in business. These customers are a key part of our history, having been using our service for more than 10 years. We are grateful to Richard from Twogether Creative, who we managed to persuade into a photograph with Rapid's Contracts Manager, Mirela, and Rapid's Operations Manager, Sabeeh.
And finally, we want to thank our founders - Jeff Whitton and Paul Claxton - for their courage to take a risk 25 years ago. There have been many challenges along the way, but as an organisation we are committed to building on their legacy. We are excited to see what the next 25 years brings!
